Description
Two SC-Cut low phase noise OCXOs are used, which correspond to 44.1k and 48k and their frequency doubling respectively. 4 channels for output, two are fixed 44.1k output and the rest are adjustable from 44.1k to 384k. If it is connected to a CD player and DAC, respective connection with a fixed 44.1k channel is advised, without setting of frequency. For digital interface and DAC, use the other two channels adjustable from 44.1k to 384k and set as the music sampling rate. In the case of professional audio equipment such as 8AXR, LYRA, HILO, AES16, generally, only one channel adjustable is needed, two sets at the same time is also feasible to synchronize and expand channels. It took over three years to prepare and test before its presentation on the market.
Thanks to OCXO of SC-CUT, the phase noise is better than that of atomic clock. At 1 Hz, it even outperforms CCHD-957 same-frequency femtosecond clock, for 0.1Hz, it is much better. Besides the low-frequency texture, the overall musicality and stability have been significantly enhanced.
Some audiophiles have tried and considered it better than the built-in clock of 8XR when the device is connected to ADA-8XR of PRISM SOUND. It is packed in double-layer carton, containing one clock generator, one power cord and no clock cable. Please prepare your own clock cable.
